Alumni Students Reading Shades
In the last two years, the alumni association identified the need for outdoor reading spaces and initiated a students reading shed project. Today, we are happy to report that a total of 10 reading sheds supplied with electricity and fitted with sockets have been successfully completed and are fully being utilized by the students. This project has been facilitated by Donation from Kenya Power and a former Member of Laikipia University Council, Mr. Moses Gakuru and LU Alumni Association.

Alumni Mentorship Programme
The Alumni Association appreciates the need for mentoring students by sharing their reservoir of knowledge and experiences that they have accumulated in their respective industries and to create significant and lasting impact on current students.
In 2019, the association partnered with I Choose Life Africa to mentor university students. Ms Lily Rono a member of the LU Alumni Association Executive committee led a team drawn largely from Media and Public Relations industries.
This provided the students with an opportunity to stay connected, expand their network, and connect to the industry in a unique way.
